Endless Claims Strategy

It’s a simple fact that some people take the following strategy when it is made obvious that they are wrong in an online disussion:

Instead of admitting error, they simply raise a different point. And then when that point is also shown to be wrong, they raise yet another point, again making no acknowledgement that they were wrong. And this continues indedefinitely.

This process is a colossal waste of time for all involved. No one learns anything, while a potentially endless amount of time can be spent writing responses. Life is far too short. Since I believe that you are currently engaging in this pattern, I am dropping out of this conversation.

The fact that I won’t respond further will give you an opportunity to claim that you were right all along, and that I’ve just given up. I assure you, and anyone else following this thread, that that is not the case. I am stopping only because your use of the Endless Claims Strategy makes continuing a complete waste of time, not only for me, but for anyone reading this thread.
